Personal and Career Development

Practical tools to help you realise your potential, map out your vision, and bring more resilience into your life.
Half day

Overview

Stepping back, recognising your existing strengths, creating a vision of your future and planning out the goals and actions to reach that future quite often gets deprioritised and delayed due to more pressing personal and/or professional demands.

Yet managing and handling those demands would feel increasingly motivating if they were meaningful activities that played to your strengths, developed your skills and took you along the journey towards your aspiring career goals.

This course not only provides you the space to reflect, vision and plan out your career, it also gives you the tools to consistently help you find balance, resilience and prioritise what’s important to you. In addition, you’ll recognise that there’s more than one way to learn and progress, and that it’s easier when you’ve got the right people around you.

What you'll learn

  • How to recognise your personal values, motivations and priorities
  • The importance of balancing ambition and drive with resilience and self-care
  • How to step back, see where your time/effort is being spent and start to see some goals/aspirations
  • Techniques to describe your vision, make it feel real and plan backwards to start action planning

  • Who you need in your support network to help you achieve your career goals
