At The Hub Events we work closely with businesses in key industries which gives us a deep sector knowledge for each organisation we deliver training for, working closely with them and their team we not only understand their organisation, their people and their challenges but the wider sector they operate in and this experience and understanding is key. We recently worked with a national organisation in the housing sector to support a cohort of their female managers & leaders through our Empowering Women in Management 2-day course.
“The course was really well delivered and very thought-provoking and gave me a lot of useful tools and techniques to use in my future endeavours.”
Training that is right for your people, your organisation and your industry
Working with their Learning & Development lead, together we identified the training opportunities that would benefit their teams and planned an in-house programme for them that would support their goals. We have an extensive catalogue of Management and Leadership training and the Empowering Women in Management course provides a unique opportunity for in-house teams to work together as group of female leaders in their organisation to together develop insights about their management and learn from each other's experiences.
Relevant, impactful courses
We work hard to ensure we can support organisations to shape the best learning and development for their people. We followed up to find out how the course had impacted attendees and get feedback.
“100% found it relevant to their role and all attendees cited that the trainer’s knowledge as ‘very good’.”
Expert trainers with specialist housing sector experience
Our expert trainer, Emma Walker-Cotton took the team through the programme creating opportunity for team discussion, space for self-reflection as well as a wealth of tools and resources that can be taken forward and applied in each of their roles. Emma is an award-winning trainer specialising in leadership development. She has over 20 years' experience of training design and delivery in both the public and private sector, including working as a director for a large housing association.
“I really appreciated Emma’s expertise and all the useful resources. Lots to think about in my new role as a (female) manager - thank you.”
