Remote working is here to stay. One of the challenges it presents is effective team working and productivity. Rapidly adopting remote working has led a lot of us to rely on a patchwork of spreadsheets, Whatsapp groups and other stopgaps. MS Teams provides a seamless alternative, and allows you to gather all the people, resources and information you need in one package.
Of all the technology and tools available to enable us to work together while working apart, MS Teams is probably one of the most accessible and universally available because it’s included in Office 365. Set up and used correctly, this can provide all the practical things you need plus much of the fun and incidental chat that we all need.
Microsoft Teams has gone from an obscure piece of software to one that is one everyone’s lips. We can make video calls from it, but it has so much more to offer. It has been designed to collaborate easily in Teams. In no time we’ll be file sharing, co-editing and screen sharing.
In this session you will learn how to get started with MS Teams. We'll also show you how to stay organised and manage projects with Microsoft Planner, a planning and project management app for Office 365. Follow along with Paul as he shows how to get things done in Planner, from creating new plans and setting due dates to updating a project's status and sharing files with team members.
