If you're travelling by train, exit Manchester Piccadilly through the main exit and bear left, crossing the pedestrian bridge.  Doubltree Hilton is the glass fronted building directly ahead of you.

There are various NCP car parks all within a 2 minute walk of Doubletree Hilton.  Argent Place and Piccadilly Place are both next door.  Dale Street car park is a 2 minute walk away.



Doubletree Hilton is a lovely hotel and often has rooms available, however they aren't able to offer delegates who wish to stay overnight a preferential room rate.  Other local hotels include:

Malmaison Manchester -  directly opposite Doubletree.

Change agents have the job of acting as translators of high level plans for change to ensure they are practical on the ground and gain the commitment of their teams. You haven't necessarily been part of the decision-making process, but you have to sell the change to others in a way that convinces them. You also have to be the one to make sure that initial teething problems get resolved with goodwill and common sense. Feeling confident in this change agent role can help reduce the ‘labour pains' of change for everyone.

Who is it for?

This course is for anyone at any level of management who is new to managing people through organisational change and/or is responsible for implementing a significant change with a team or department. You may have been the instigator of the change or you may be implementing a change that a more senior team has designed.

Anyone who knows their next organisational change is going to be a challenge and wants to brush up the people side of their change management skills to ensure that it goes as smoothly as possible.

Shona Ward

Shona loves to help people make changes in their people skills that produce big results. She is a Managing Partner of the Learning Curve Network and has been designing and delivering interactive training events since 1987.  She began her career providing individual counselling and psychotherapy in Further Education, Health and Social services and uses this background in psychology to make her training effective and long lasting.
